Anita is an experienced general practitioner with a passion for family, health and well being. Anita is relocating form Northland, New Zealand where she spent over 24 years diligently caring for her rural community both in her role as a GP and working with the local hospice.
She has a sound background in acute and chronic care and has passion for improving health outcomes for all. Anita brings a wealth of experience to our team, with a sound holistic approach to patient, family and community. Anita enjoys getting to know the person behind the ailments and loves caring for people and families of all ages and stages.
Anita was born in South Africa. She is married and has 2 adult children.
When not working she can be found at the beach, cooking vegetarian food, listening to music, Nia dancing and meditating.
Anita is looking forward to working with the Welsby Parade Medical team, and exploring Queensland. Anita will be joining us in late January and will be available by appointment: Tuesday to Friday.
